About Cobblestone Financial Group M. Lyndon Matteson III President & CEO 585-223-1003 Lyn Matteson began his career as a young banking professional at Key Bank directly from college to the Management Associate Program. He spent his first 13 years advancing through positions, rising to Senior Vice President and District Manager. Lyn mastered the management of commercial / small business lending, retail and private banking, as he managed 25 Key Bank branches and oversaw more than $680 million in loans and deposits. Lyn soon was recruited to Charter One Bank, where he was responsible for starting up the new Business Banking Division as the Pilot Sales Manager. He was accountable for developing operational policy and procedure, underwriting standards as well as business banking loan and deposit product set for the 40 billion dollar bank. Lyn then advanced to the Division Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Leader at Charter One Bank. Here he was accountable for managing sales, client service and the overall branch operations for 126 branches, $4 billion in deposits, and over 800 employees in Western NY. When Charter One Bank was acquired by Citizens Bank of New York in 2004, Lyn lead his team through the transition, becoming Director of Business Banking for New York State. He hired a team of over 100 business bankers across New York and quickly positioned Citizens Bank as the top Small Business Administration lender in Upstate New York. Lyn was delegated by Citizens Bank a lending authority of $2,000,000 for both commercial real estate loan transactions and commercial and industrial loans. Throughout his career Lyn has shown consistent leadership and exemplary vision. In an effort to continually further his repertoire, his most recent undertaking is founding Cobblestone Financial Group in December of 2005. CFG is a Corporate Real Estate Broker focused on placing commercial real estate loans, construction and development loans and commercial and industrial loans to his numerous direct funding sources throughout the country. Cobblestone is a product of his accumulated skills as a lending authority, his extensive professional connections in the banking and lending arena, as well as a testament to his leadership characteristics and trustworthy demeanor. Lyn has recently finished a year long consulting assignment for a troubled bank in Pasadena, CA. Recruited by CEO to run the Commercial Banking Group, assist the bank in generating new capital, exiting matured and classified loans and decreasing the banks balance sheet to comply with the FDIC Risk Based Capital Ratios. The Bank, under formal cease and desist orders from the FDIC was successfully recapitalized to exceed requirements on May 3, 2010, one of only 3 California banks able to accomplish this feat over the last 18 month period. As a result, Business Bank Consulting, Inc was created to assist other banks with regulatory issues. Lyn completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Business at the State University College at Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, NY. More recently, he completed a Senior Manager Strategy and Service Excellence Program at the Harvard School of Business in St. Andrews, Scotland. It was here that the strategy for Cobblestone Financial Group was developed. Jules C Jomsky Chief Credit Officer 310-490-7070 Mr. Jomsky joined Cobblestone Financial Group in December of 2007 as Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Jomsky has extensive experience in small business and commercial real estate financing with over 15 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining Cobblestone, Mr. Jomsky was a Senior Vice President – Business Development Officer for Premier Commercial Bank managing the Bank’s Los Angeles based Office. Previous to that position, he was Manager and Senior Credit Officer for Comerica Bank’s west coast underwriting and processing center in Los Angeles. Mr. Jomsky has also held the position of President of Leverage Business Consulting a private distressed debt analysis and acquisition firm. Throughout his career Mr. Jomsky has maintained a national portfolio of clientele and relationships that has given him a unique perspective of the developments and transitions of both the small business and commercial real estate markets. Mr. Jomsky earned his BS degree in Finance and Real Estate from California State University Northridge (Los Angeles, CA). He also completed his MBA in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA). Mr. Jomsky is an active member of his local Chamber of Commerce and is an active volunteer for his local chapters of youth soccer league (AYSO) and Pony Baseball as a Coach.
